The grand design

So how may of you out there have philosophical dreams about the meaning of life. Ultimately the answer to the great question is Forty-Two at least that is the big answer. So then I guess what is the question? Well I think the search for the question is the real answer. if anyone can tell me the real question I would appreciate it.

In the Garden

The greatest sin of all was committed by Eve. Yes folks back in the garden when the apple was eaten first by Eve, who then encouraged Adam to do the same. Seems like Woman has been getting all of us into trouble ever since creation. So is it any wonder why I have nightmares about relationships. I suck at it, cant seem to keep one going for more than six months I don't know who is to blame but I keep coming back to Eve.

UnEmployed

I have had a dream that I was at the UnEnjoyment office. The lines were endless seemed to wait for years and years. When you finaly reach the window they ask what you are qualified to do. Ultimately they have nothing for you. So they want to send you to Goodwill or Value Village to sort socks at $5.00 an hour.

Makes me want to put both barrels of a shotgun in my mouth.

Dream a little dream of the past.

I had a dream that was taking place at a ball back in the civil war times, or maybe it was the revolutionary war. Everyone was wearing those beautiful powdered white wigs. The formal wear was so grand I never wanted to wake up.

Work on the farm.

Had a dream that I was working on a dairy farm, milking cows and such.

was rather boring.

Waiting for a bus

I dreamed I was waiting for a bus with a group of people and the bus never came. Stragely the bus stop was in the middle of nowhere and no one ever questioned how we each got to the bus stop.

DECAY

I have this dream where everything is in a bad state of decay. The system is shuting down, unemplyment is increasing, and food prices are skyrocketing. People are rioting in the streets.

The world is in a sad state.

The Final Crusade

I had a very unsettling dream about The Book of Revelations last night. The time is neigh and his time of return is at hand. Basically it took place a week from now, is everyone prepared?

At the farm

I have this dream; it takes place at a farm which looks very much like my uncle’s place. The occupants there are familiar though I have never met them before. We live there like a commune or cult. Not like a Heavens Gate or Jonestown, seems more like a kind of hippie group.

The Cannonball Run

Had a dream that I was in a race like the cannonball run last night.

When I sleep I dream I am sitting at my window as the world falls apart before my eyes. At times it is prety frightning. Many think things are looking better but from where I am sitting I dont think it will be that much longer before the system will fail.

Other Dimensions

I have been wondering what thoughts others might have about the idea that our dream lives are actualy those lives we live in another dimension. A couple of dreams I have been having lately its as if I have always lived there, however the people are unfamilar to me yet while I am there its as if I have always belonged.

Any ideas?

Sleeplessness

So it is kind of difficult to post a dream while one is dealing with INSOMNIA.

I am so Frickin tired but cant sleep!

BIOHAZARD!

Had this dream last night. it was about a global pandemic hiting within the next year or so. It envolved not only that bird flu but a retro fitted toxin that some Alqueda guys releaced. Needless to say it killed several billion. The world was not prepared and so many died. The bigest problem was that it mutated into other strains and caused ten times more devestation than anyone thought or even computed.

The Death Dream

So I am running around trying to avoid death. Yea actually the grim reaper himself, in the dream I manage to stay five steps ahead of the dude with the cycle. Not realy sure what the rationality is that I am dreaming that death is somehow stalking me. It is not like I lay awake pondering the idea about withering away.

Failing

I know everyone has fears, phobias, anxiety. I don't believe that I am paranoid but I sometime=mes think that the world is setting me up to fail. Every project I have started for the last eight months gets its funding yanked or canceled, or I get fired off the project for creative differences. I guess I am just having a bad year. I sure wish it would improve.

I have been dreaming that I had to give up on my dream of becoming an award winning documentary filmaker. Spending my life just watching from the sidelines. I even more depressed when I woke up.

....TOURTURE....

Not sure if it is just a seasonal thing or not. I am having dreams about tourture, being tourtured and tourtureing others. Both people I know and strangers. I think that I might have some pent up hostility that I probibly need to deal with. Either that or I am just going batty. I might just need more fiber in my diet. OK bad joke, come on ya need to see humor in every part of life or you will go nuts.

The Highway

I have been having this particular dream for about a week now. It's very post Apacalyptic. I am travling with a group of people in a Greyhound bus, across the country. Some kind of disaster has hit the USA I can never exactly remember that part of the dream. I hope to be able to remember more cause it would make for one heck of a book.

A Nation of Stupid.

I know that this is a dream forum but I feel I have to post this. This was not a dream this happened to me at the mall when I went to the movies.

I seem to see more and more kids who are for lack of a better word stupid. Now before you black list me for this please let me continue. We have a nation of children who can't read, don't know that France is a country, and that The World Trade center really existed. Now I am speaking of High School freshmen, not kindergarten students. I was at the movies the other day and three kids were looking at a poster for the new Oliver Stone film staring Nicholas Cage.

One kid asks the others "What are the two dark things?"

I could not believe what I was hearing, their conversation continued. Another kid said this is just a movie, like collateral Damage, a what if kind of story. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I ask the kids what they were doing on 9/11/2001. These kids were like 11 and 12 when it happened, and they did not even know that The World Trade Center were two buildings that collapsed. I know that most of us don't want to dwell on this disaster but when High school students are not even aware of an attack that happened in their life time, one needs to question just what the hell are they teaching our kids in school.

We are raising a nation of stupid people.

The Apocalyptic Future

Is it normal to have Post apocalyptic dreams?

I have had this dream going on a week now where the nation has faced a catastrophe and we are dealing with the aftermath. Basically a severe summer and then an even worse winter with -200 degree wind chill artic blasts through most of the country. (please see map) Now I don't mean to say the snow gets deep, its just that after a real hot, dreadfully hot summer, the winter was even worse. The elderly were dyeing in high numbers, we were having severe power outages all over not to mention a nation wide Icestorm hits the nation. I have been through one icestorm in my life but not like the one in my dream. The one I experienced was a drizzle compared to the one in my dream.

It was pretty frightening.
